I'd never shipped a car in my life and finding a transport company is like trying to buy a new computer. They all do the same thing, but you KNOW there are differences. I made the mistake of filling out some online forms to get companies to call me and my phone rang off the hook for three days straight. The calls were so frequent that it became funny after a while.
After a lot of research, I contacted Parker Trucking to get my car from Florida to Colorado using an open carrier. See the Research and Vendors page for more info. Joanne Parker was great to deal with and they were really prompt in getting the transport scheduled. They worked directly with the seller and picked up the car right from his driveway.
The seller sent me this picture Friday morning, 12/9/11 as the car was loaded up, headed to its new home in Colorado.
